Salseros Get-Together INDOORS

Last one was so much fun, let's do it again!!!

No frills, no big names behind console, no fancy teachers. Just a great floor (I've tested it, it's ace!) and an opportunity to enjoy salsa music amongst a lovely crowd. This translates to a low cost of only £8 on the doors! (buy on doors, don't pay website admin fees)

Set up ( other than it being indoors and therefore having to charge entry fee) is same as our Piece Hall Get-Togethers. I'll do a short taster class, something easy so everyone can join. Then I run the pre-prepared playlist and we dance, or chat and catch up.

Music policy - any style and era of salsa with slower tracks at first and leaving difficult (but fabulous) ones for the end of the evening.

Seasoned dancers - come around, have fun and inspire newbies. Newbies - come around and have a go practicing what you've learnt in a safe environment. Get your mambo-miles in.

First time learning to partner dance? Here's a few tips 1 Wear securely fitted shoes - ones that won't slip off, or flap about. Check if you are able to comfortably stand on tiptoes in them. Avoid shoes with a good grip, you want to be able to do a little twist without much friction. 2 Leave your jewellery at home, watches can tangle in partners hair, earrings can get caught on partners sleeve etc 3 Wear whatever clothes you fancy, as long as you're comfortable 4 Don't stress. Salsa is a joyous social party dance. And the community is very welcoming.

COVID SAFETY: 1. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell 2. It is your choice if you wish to wear a mask and if you want to switch partners or stay in bubble. If you choose to remain in bubble, you will be given a red wristband to avoid strangers approaching you. 3. Please use hand sanitizers available on site 

The venue is located 5 minutes walk from the train station. Carpark in front of the venue. If you are driving, put the venue name in your satnav rather than postcode.
