Salsa workshops with Rasa

Two afternoons of salsa workshops with the amazing dancer and joyful teacher, the one and only: Rasa Pauzaite.

You can purchase 1 or 2 day pass, the choice is yours - please select both tickets and use coupon: Weekender2 if buying both days

£70 for 1 day (4 classes) per couple

£100 for 2 days (8 classes) per couple - that is only £6.25 per person per class!!

Due to the possibility of Covid restrictions, only couples may book. Pricing is set per couple. It is your choice if you wish to swap partners during workshop, or if would you rather remain together with your bubble – we understand that it will take time for many to feel comfortable to be close to strangers. 

If you have booked the tickets and cannot attend, you may sell them on without extra booking fees, as long as the bill payer contacts the organiser and leaves the new ticket holder contact details. 

The workshop starting time is currently an estimate at 11am and will be clarified closer to the date, it will start no later than 1 pm. It is essential that you leave correct contact details on booking so that you can be informed of it and any further instructions. Your contact details will be stored for 21 days for NHS track and trace and not used for any marketing purposes.

Saturday

Polishing your essentials and basic skills

- Technique, spinning (both leader and follower)

- Body movement and body isolations

- Connection, frame, communication during styling

- Finishing day off by putting all above into partner work routine

Sunday

Level Up

- Harder turn patterns

- Speed control with focus on musicality

- Salsa romantica with focus on music breaks

- Application in more challenging sequence

Small group, relaxed schedule, plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Sessions will get progressively more challenging over the weekend.

Bring your own snacks and drinks. Access to kettle – bring a mug, tea bags and milk will be provided. 

Venue easily accessible by train & bus. For best carparks, please ask.

WE WILL HOLD A SALSA SOCIAL PARTY IN YMCA HALL. ATTENDANTS OF THIS WORKSHOP ENTER FREE. 

If Covid developments force us to postpone the event, you will be given option of full refund (less booking fee) or transfer of your ticket to the new date.
