Salsa workshops with Nicolai V

Two afternoons of salsa workshops with incredibly skilful and well known Nicolai V. 

8 hrs of pure joy up for grabs!

You can purchase 1 or 2 day pass, the choice is yours - please select both tickets and use coupon: Weekender if buying both days

£64 for 1 day (4hrs) per couple

£96 for 2 days (8hrs) per couple - that is only £6 per person per hour!!

Due to the current Covid regulations, only couples may attend. We will not be switching partners and moving around the room. Each couple will be given a clearly marked space for practice and a seat each for changing shoes and resting. Pricing is set per couple. 

If you have booked the tickets and cannot attend, you may sell them on, as long as the bill payer contacts the organiser and leaves the new ticket holder details. Times are tricky and we will try our best to accommodate any lockdown related problems. Here is what Nicolai cooked up for you:

Day 1 Polishing your essentials

1- Practice and drill stock and trade CBL improver and intermediate skills, techniques and moves.

2 - Apply these skills and moves in routines/sequences.

Day 2 Taking your dancing to next level

1 - Practice and drill CBL intermediate+ skills, techniques and moves, including tricks and dips.

2 - Apply these in more challenging routines/sequences.

Over the whole weekend, various key aspects of the dance and communication within the dance will be focused on. 

Such as:

Footwork 

Pivoting, turns and spins

Leading/following techniques 

The 'frame'

Spatial awareness 

Trouble shooting and questions.

Sessions will get progressively more challenging over the weekend.

Bring your own snacks and drinks.

If Covid developments force us to postpone, you will be given option of full refund (less booking fee) or transfer of your ticket to the new date.
