Salsa workshops with Mauricio Reyes

The spring arrives and the one and only Mauricio Reyes is hopping back to teach us!!!

After our lovely two days of workshops in February 2020 followed by a brilliant night of social dancing, we are more than eager to repeat the whole set.

He doesn’t really need introduction, but the pleasure is mine:

Originally from Latin America but based in Birmingham (UK), Mauricio Reyes is the founder of Latin Motion, the biggest salsa outfit in the Midlands since it was established in the early 1990's. Mauricio has been dancing and listening to salsa all of his life and has been teaching salsa dance since the tender age of 17. He is a regular DJ at some of the UKs biggest salsa events, and has been awarded 'Top Regional Promoters', 'Services to Salsa' & 'Top UK Salsa DJ' awards numerous times. As a dedicated salsa DJ, dance instructor and promoter for well over a decade, Mauricio’s work within the UK salsa scene has been extensive.

His passion for salsa shines through and makes learning from him always a very enjoyable experience. 

And we will have the pleasure of two days learning from this amazing (and adorable) fella.

He will give us workshops in Cross body and Cuban Salsa. Workshop numbers are strictly limited to ensure good quality experience. No crowds here. 

Class level improver upwards, the small size of the group will allow for plenty of opportunities to ask questions and nail that technique.

LEADER/FOLLOWER BALANCING IN PLACE FOR ALL WORKSHOPS to ensure high quality learning experience. Please note it is not gender balancing, if a gentleman wants to follow or a lady wants to lead, just go for it, if you want to switch roles with your partner in between workshops – that is fine too as long as you both agree between each other and not create unbalanced numbers. If covid rules don’t change, we will be switching partners throughout. The purpose of balancing is to ensure that nobody is left without a partner for any longer than a minute or two. 

This event is accompanied by a Saturday night Social in the same venue.

Venue : The Harold Club, 393 New Works Rd, Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0UD. It has a great dancefloor, two carparks and is easy to find. 

We will stick to Covid rules whatever they are at the date. And this paragraph will be adjusted mid March. 

Returns policy: 

If you cannot attend, please re-sell your pass and let us know the name of new attendant at no extra admin fee. 

If Mauricio cannot attend, you will be given an option of refund or postponed event ticket.

If the government rules prevent us from having the workshop, you will be given an option of refund or postponed event ticket.
