About the Event
Dead Royals invading Halifax this October! What could be more scary than men in tights? Dust your tiaras off and glide into Wellington rooms where the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth gets resurrected by the salsa rhythm. A royal feast, all kings and queens are invited!
Doors will open at 19:30
A salsa class with Queen Rasa at 20:00 then we dance!
Tickets are £10 pre-sell during Salsa Geeks classes and £12 on doors. Cash or card.
Music policy: 85-90% salsa, any era, any style, starting slow to help our beginners find their feet, and letting you practice your new moves, gradually getting more complex and faster. Splash of Kizomba, Cha cha cha and Bachata.
This is a venue ran by volunteers, with a very cheap bar and a very good supply of non-alcoholic drinks for drivers alongside your usual booze. Please support the bar and don't bring your own drinks.
